Mussoorie-Escape the Heat in the Queeen of Hills



Mussoorie
Mussoorie has a beautiful nature walk known as “Camel’s Back Road”and also known as “Queen of Hills”. Road takes its name from mountain outcrop in the shape of a camel’s hump.


Mussoorie is a hill station and a municipal board in the Dehradun District. It is located about 35 km from the state capital of Dehradun and 290 km north from the national capital of New Delhi. 


Kempty Falls

Kempty Falls, a place that promises wonderful memories, located at an altitude of 4,500 ft, on way between Dehradun-Mussoorie is one of the popular tourist place. It is a beautiful waterfall, height of about 40 ft from a mountain. John Mekinan, in 1835, had developed this place as a tourist destination and name of the place is derived from Camp-tea, the place where Britishers organised tea parties. This place is popular for swimming, fishing activities also enjoy its game.It gives you extra energy, soaking you in fun and frolic.


You can easily reach this place by hiring taxis or buses, which are easily available from Mussoorie.
Best time to visit
To visit Kempty Falls the best time is between the summer months of March and June as the weather is pleasant.

Jharipani Fall
One of the beautiful places, here you can see wild flowers, shrubs, creepers, ideal for picnic with families, nature lovers and many adventures activity.
 This falls is located at 8.5 km from Mussoorie on Mussoorie-Jharipani road near the village of Jharipani. You can take the route to the Jharipani Main Market via St George’s boarding school.Easily go by local bus or car up to Jharipani from where the fall is about 1.5 km on foot , enjoy beautiful view of Shivalik range and leveled pieces of hills.


There is beautiful space for children to play here; there are a few swings and all another children games.Your life is in the pure and unpolluted environment of Mussoorie.

Company Garden
Company Garden is very surprising place for your kids with a picnic or just gather your group of friends and set out for this garden.



 When you will be entranced by the lush green carpet of gardens done in colonial style and greeted by the cascading fountain with its crystal clear water, your heart skip a beat. You can also enjoy a boat ride in the artificial lake with some charges per person depending on the boat you choose.





Bhatta Falls
Bhatta Falls is located about 7 km from Mussoorie, is a major tourist attraction place for people visiting Mussoorie. Once you are here, you can enjoy as the day passes by. It is not only a nature's lover delight but also a trekkers’ paradise as you have to walk up some distance to reach here. The falls are a wonderful sight, going to downwards and lost into lush greenery.Here also you can enjoy noodles, boiled eggs, soups and your favourite coffee.





Its distance from Mussoorie on Mussoorie-Dehradun Road near Bhatta Village is about 7 kms. You can enjoy by car or bus up to Bhatta from where the fall is 3 km by foot. A fall with nice ponds and beautiful place for picnic.
