Jaipur –Capital of Rajasthan, also called pink city due to used pink
stone and its building’s color. It is very popular city in all over world for
its culture and heritage tourist attraction. When you visit Jaipur, must visits
a number of hill forts, series of places and number of palaces which are
increase its divinity. Jaipur is famous for beautiful jewelry, fabrics,
handicrafts, embroidered shoes and dye scarves. Jaipur city have romantic charm
and glimpse of royalty and tradition. It
is imperial city, amazing legends
of romance and heroism. Jaipur is popular tourist place, located at 260 km from New Delhi and forms a part of Golden triangle along with Agra and as like
gateway for other places such as Jodhpur, Jaislmer and Udaipur. Famous festival
are Teej, Gangaur and Kite festival.
Places to Visit:
Amer Fort: It is
located in Amber, 11 km from Jaipur known as Amer palace. This palace have
beautiful structure and nice courtyard with Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-i-Aam and Sukh
Mahal. Royal elephant ride and walk uphill is very famous. Also inspired by
Hindu and Muslim Architecture.
Hawa Mahal: It is also
called ‘Palace of the Winds’ and one of the tourist attraction place in Jaipur.it
is very beautiful five-storey building of pyramid shape. It has 953 windows with
lattice design and it looks very glamorous.
Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh: It is a
beautiful garden, situated on Jaipur-Agra road. Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh fascinate
the people for its amazing landscaping and charm. This garden designed on the
theme of eternal lovers, Radha-Krishna. It is connected to Jaipur by roads
and can be reached by local buses or you can also hire taxi or cab service from Jaipur to reach this garden.
Vidyadhar Garden Jaipur: This
garden is very beautiful and was built in the memory of Jaipur's chief
Architect, Vidyadhar Bhattacharya.In this garden the tranquil lakes, flower
beds and close to the Sisodia gardens and it also have wonderful, sylvan lakes,
terraced lawns and fountains.
Jantar Mantar: Combinition
of religion, science and art, name given to a series of five, magnificent
structures built in Jaipur, New Delhi, Ujjain, Varanasi and Mathura. The term
'Jantar Mantar' is taken from the Sanskrit terms 'Yantra' and 'Mantra' it means
'instruments' and 'formula' respectively.
Jal Mahal: Jal Mahal,
also called the “Water Palace”, influenced by Mughal-Rajputana style of
architecture- fascinates a large number of visitors from all over and it is
stands in the middle of the Man
Sagar Lake. It is five storey building in which four levels of the building
submerge under water.
One day cabs/taxi tour
that includes the Amer fort, the Jal Mahal and the monkey temple will pay very
efficient price. It is connect to Jaipur by bus and is on the main route
between Jaipur and Amer, appears to float in the centre of Sagar Lake.
Birla mandir: It is located
in tilak nagar, jaipur, Rajasthan. This is known as Laxmi Narayan Temple, dominates
the skyline of southern and is one of the most beautiful temple in Jaipur.
In this temple, 'Janmashtami' is celebrated with great
enthusiasm and also dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. In the inner
part of this temple magnificent shrine, beautifully sculpted idols of Lord Vishnu
and Goddess Lakshmi and others can be seen.
Nahargarh Fort: Nahargarh
Fort was founded by Maharaja Jai Sawai Singh, stands at the top point of the
Aravali hills and refers to "the Abode of Tigers”, therefore fort is also
known as the Tiger Fort. It looks nice in the night.
How to reach
By Air-The Jaipur
Airport is located at Sanganer. It has the facility of flights to Delhi,
Jodhpur, Hyderabad and Pune. When you reached at the airport, hire a taxi/cabs
and visit city.
By Train-There are
several trains which connect Jaipur to Delhi, Mumbai, Agra, and Jodhpur. Every
train stops at Jaipur junction and some of trains stop at Gandhinagar and
Durgapara.
By Road-Jaipur,
the pink city is connected with all major cities of India through National
Highways. There's also a very good cabs service between Jaipur and Delhi and
buses provided by Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC).
