The
organizer of the Swaminarayan Akshardham temple is named BAPs Swaminarayan
Sanstha – a social spiritual NGO in all over world. The architecture of this
temple is very beautiful and also showing a glimpse and glory of Indian
culture, arts, history, and heritage value and also explain the virtue of
Bhagwan Swaminarayan, highly inspired by Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
The
Akshardham temple is open only Tuesday to Sunday, every Monday it is closed and
timing is 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Every year’s thousands of people came to Delhi
for visit the places and this place is most attraction center for tourist. Many
things are available for visit and some thing is free and for another something
a small money is paiyed. The complex of this temple is spread over very large
area. It’s just like center of beauty, peace, divinity and dignity. Its

Places to visit:
Ten Gates- This ten gates reflects ten
principal direction of Vedic sentiment that provide goodness from everywhere.
Bhakti Dwar- Also called gate of devotion,
celebrates Vedic tradition of dual worship.
Mayur Dwar- There are many peacock which is
symbol of beauty and purity, also national bird of India.
Footprint- Between two mayor dwar are
holly footprint of Bhagwan Swaminarayan.
Akshardham – The main part of this large
complex is the grand Akshardham mandir, built by pink stone and whitemarbal. Complex
have many beautiful pillars, dams and it made without using steel. Its
architecture is as like grand palace. The Murti of Bhagwan Swaminarayan is made
by gold-plated and another murti are Radha-Krishna, Sita-Ram and Parvati-Shiv.
There
are two hall that is hall-1 and hall-2.Hall-1 called Sahajanand Darshan,
explain good virtue of life of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and represents by films, light
and sound shows with robotic figure. Hall-2 called Neelkanth darshan, shows
many show related with the life of 14 yrs child yogi by large projector. It is
a major tourist destiny of India. This temple has beautiful musical fountain.
Bharat Upavan- This garden is opposite side of
mandir and view of mandir is very majestic from here.
